The gingival margin file (Solint GF) was designed to work on areas where the use of rotary instruments may not be accessible.
Use the 50 Micron GF2 for general purpose work. This instrument does an excellent job of cutting and shaping composite or glass ionomer materials. This instrument gives you extremely fine control, only available with a hand instrument.
Use the 25 Micron GF2 for very delicate work. This instrument does an excellent job of making fine adjustments to your restorations without marking the surface of the material. This instrument is especially useful for finishing margins and blending tooth structure to the composite or glass ionomer materials.
